Over the last couple of weeks, the Social Enterprise Impact Lab have been focusing in on indicators. We’ve talked about what they are, what they tell us about our outcomes and impact, and how we might go about selecting relevant indicators. Having these conversations together has reminded us of the complexity of planning impact measurement well, and the benefits of knowledge-sharing in demystifying this process!
With that in mind, we are sharing some interesting collaborative work happening in the UK. Inspiring Impact are developing free resources and tools that can support social purpose organisations with impact measurement. You can use their free tool Measuring Up! to self-assess where your organisation is currently at in terms of impact measurement. If you’d prefer not to sign up, you can still use the tool by following the link at the bottom of the page that suits your organisation size and impact measurement experience. You might also like to check out their guidance plan for some tips on developing your impact measurement plan.
If you do take a look at these resources, please feel free to comment or share your thoughts in the forum and let us know – was this information helpful? What kinds of social impact measurement resources might be useful to see in the Australian context?
