Exploring Social Impact Measurement with The Compass

Exploring Social Impact Measurement with The Compass

This week, we’re sharing a free resource authored by Kristy Muir and Stephen Bennett at The Centre for Social Impact, UNSW.

The Compass: your guide to social impact measurement explores the concepts and principles of social outcomes and impact measurement, using as little jargon as possible. The aim of this guide is to support those working towards positive social impact in Australia to understand, measure and communicate their social impact. The Compass doesn’t prescribe a specific set of impact measurement frameworks, but instead guides readers through relevant topics and questions to consider in measuring social impact.

We hope you’ll find this resource useful! If you do, please share and cite as follows: Muir, K. & Bennett, S. (2014). The Compass: Your Guide to Social Impact Measurement. Sydney, Australia: The Centre for Social Impact.
